Short answer: yes, and Hamad International Airport gives you four separate ways to do it. The Vitality Wellbeing and Fitness Centre on the fourth floor of the Oryx Airport Hotel has shower rooms, a 25-metre pool and hydrotherapy tubs, open daily 06:00 to 02:00 and available to walk-in passengers, not just hotel guests. Be Relax spa sells short shower slots in three concourses. Qatar Airways lounges include private shower suites. And an Oryx room gives you a bathroom of your own. One catch decides everything: all of it sits airside, in the transit area.

Vitality: the full option
The Vitality Wellbeing and Fitness Centre occupies the fourth floor of the Oryx Airport Hotel and is the closest thing at Hamad to a proper health club. Shower rooms sit alongside a fully equipped gym, a 25-metre swimming pool with panoramic views over the apron, hydrotherapy tubs, a squash court, a golf simulator and a spa treatment menu.
Opening hours run daily from 06:00 to 02:00, which covers the two Doha transit banks that matter — the early-morning wave and the small hours. Guests of the Oryx get complimentary access to the pool, gym, hydrotherapy tubs and shower rooms. Everyone else pays a walk-in rate at the desk.
The airport does not publish that rate on its own pages: it points you to the Oryx hotel site instead. Travellers writing in 2025 and 2026 report roughly 90 QAR for shower access and around 175 QAR for the pool, which includes the rest of the centre. Treat those as a guide and confirm at the desk, because wellness pricing at Hamad has moved more than once.
Children aged five and over may use the pool and the other facilities when accompanied by an adult. Under-fives are not admitted to the pool or any fitness facility, which catches families out more often than the price does.
Be Relax: the quick option
Be Relax runs three outlets inside the terminal: Concourse C beside Gate C1, Concourse A between the Coach and Diesel stores, and the junction of Concourse D/E. All three sell shower slots as a standalone service, without a spa treatment attached.
Two lengths are usually on the board — a short slot of about ten minutes and a longer one around twenty-five, with a towel, shower gel and shampoo included, and a vanity or shaving kit on the longer option. Published prices in 2026 sit near 70 and 95 QAR respectively.
Why choose this over Vitality: distance. If your connection is 90 minutes and your gate is on Concourse A, walking to the Oryx and back can eat the whole gap. Be Relax is on your way.
Lounges: free if you already have access
Qatar Airways lounges at Hamad include private shower suites, and for a business-class or oneworld Sapphire passenger this is the obvious answer: it costs nothing extra.
Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden, part of the Central Concourse expansion, has updated shower and toilet facilities alongside its garden seating. The South lounge offers spacious shower suites with an overhead and handheld shower, a toilet and space for your bag and clothing.
Expect a wait at peak. Shower suites in lounges are allocated by queue, and Doha's connection banks fill them quickly. Ask at the reception desk on arrival rather than an hour later, because they take your name and call you.

A hotel room: the comfortable option
The Oryx Airport Hotel sits at South Plaza, next to the Lamp Bear sculpture, and was the world's first hotel built directly inside an airport transit area. A room gives you a private bathroom, a bed, and free access to Vitality upstairs.
Two rules govern it. Reservations are for transit passengers only, and stays must be under 24 hours. You do not reclaim checked bags for a stay under 24 hours, which removes the main reason people avoid airport hotels.

🔑 The catch: everything is airside
Every shower listed above is in the transit area, past passport control and before immigration. That is good news for the people who need it most — transit passengers — and a trap for everyone else.
Oryx guests are told explicitly not to clear immigration. If you enter Qatar, you leave the transit area and cannot walk back to the hotel or to Vitality without a new boarding pass and another security check.
So the decision is made before you leave the aircraft. Staying airside for the connection means every option here is open. Entering Doha on a visa or a stopover package means the shower happens at your hotel in the city, not at the airport.
Arriving passengers ending their journey in Qatar have no airside shower option at all once they pass immigration.

Practical notes
Towels are provided at Vitality and Be Relax, so a travel towel is dead weight in your carry-on for this trip. Bring flip-flops if you plan to swim.
Timing beats price at Hamad. Vitality closes at 02:00 and reopens at 06:00, and connections landing inside that window leave lounges and Be Relax as the only routes to hot water.
Keep your boarding pass to hand: Vitality holds it at the front desk while you use the facilities, and lounges scan it at entry.
Swimwear is not sold at the centre. Passengers who decide on the pool mid-journey usually end up buying it in the terminal shops, at terminal prices.
