Getting from Doha airport to the city
Step out of the arrivals hall and the options sit along the same frontage. Official Karwa taxis, the teal cabs run by Mowasalat, wait at the rank with no booking needed; they run on a meter with an airport pick-up fee added. Ride-hailing works too, with Uber and Careem picking up from a signed area. Hotel shuttles collect from the same frontage when your hotel offers one.
The Metro is the cheap alternative and it is genuinely convenient here: the driverless Red Line has its own station a short walk from the terminal and reaches the Msheireb interchange in about fifteen minutes.
